Nöbet Çizelgem — Privacy Policy

Also available in: Türkçe

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Scope and developer

This policy explains how the iOS and Android versions of Nöbet Çizelgem, developed by Mustafa Dizdar, handle data. The app helps shift workers track work dates, shift types, and total working hours. It is not a healthcare service or a patient record system.

2. Our approach to privacy

You do not need to create an account or provide identity or contact details such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.

Your shift records and preferences are processed and stored on your device. The app does not send this information to a developer-operated server. It has no app-managed cloud account, automatic cloud synchronization, or server-based shift backup service.

The app does not display advertisements or integrate services for advertising targeting, cross-app tracking, usage analytics, or automatic error-report transmission. We do not sell your app data or share it for advertising purposes.

3. Information processed on your device and its purposes

The app uses the following information only to provide the corresponding features:

  • Calendar records: Shift dates, selected shift types, and working durations, to display your schedule and calculate monthly working hours.
  • Custom shift definitions: The shift name you enter, start and end times, calculated duration, and visual identifiers, to let you define your own shift types.
  • App preferences: Language, light/dark/system theme, visible shift types, and reminder settings, to retain your choices between sessions. The device language is read locally to choose an initial language; this does not use GPS location.
  • Notification information: When reminders are enabled, the relevant shift name and notification time, to schedule local notifications on your device.
  • A backup file you select: Its contents are read during import to restore calendar records and custom shift definitions.

The app does not access location, contacts, the camera, the microphone, the photo library, health records, or payment information for its features. We recommend not entering patient information or other people’s sensitive information in custom shift names.

4. Reminders and permissions

Reminders are optional. When you enable them, the app requests notification permission through the operating system. If you decline, you can continue using the app’s other features.

Reminders are scheduled on your device. Shift data and push tokens are not sent to a remote notification server for this feature. Notification text may include a custom shift name and may appear on your lock screen, depending on your device settings. You can manage preview visibility in your device’s notification settings.

You can turn reminders off under Settings → Reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in your device settings.

5. Backups, imports, and sharing you initiate

My Data → Create Backup File creates a .json file containing your calendar records, custom shift definitions, backup format version, and export timestamp. The file does not include language, theme, or reminder preferences. A copy of the exported file may remain in the app’s temporary file storage.

You can save or send the file to an app, person, or location you select in the operating system’s share menu. Selecting iCloud Drive or Google Drive, for example, may transfer the file to that service. This happens at your direction; a copy of the backup is not automatically sent to the developer. The storage, access, and transfer practices of your chosen service are governed by its own privacy policy.

During import, the app reads only the backup you select in the file picker; it does not scan all files on your device. Imported calendar records and custom shift definitions replace the existing records.

The app does not encrypt backup files. Anyone who can access a backup file can read its contents. Store backups in trusted locations and review their contents before sharing them.

6. Retention and deletion

Local records and preferences remain until you change or delete them, or until the app’s local data is removed from your device. The developer cannot access these records on your device or remotely delete them for you.

  • Calendar records: You can clear the shift assigned to a date or delete calendar records together using My Data → Reset Calendar. Resetting the calendar does not delete custom shift definitions, app preferences, or exported backups.
  • Custom shift definitions: You can delete them individually under Settings → Custom Shifts. Deleting a definition does not delete historical calendar records.
  • All local app data: On Android, you can use the operating system’s clear app data/storage function. On iOS, you can delete the app together with its local data. Merely offloading the app on iOS may retain its data.
  • Exported and system-backed-up copies: You must separately manage or delete copies in file storage, cloud services, recipients’ storage, and operating system backups. Depending on your device’s backup settings, the operating system may back up or restore app data; those copies are not controlled by the developer.

7. Security

Data is stored in the app’s local storage and is subject to the device operating system’s protections. The app does not add password protection or app-level encryption to local records or backup files.

We recommend using a device lock, keeping your operating system up to date, and preventing unauthorized access to your device and backups. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Support correspondence and other services

If you contact the developer by email, the address, message, and attachments you voluntarily provide are processed to respond to your support request. Support correspondence is separate from the app’s local data handling. Do not send shift backups or sensitive information unless necessary for support.

Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request and, where applicable, to meet legal retention obligations. You can request deletion of this correspondence using the contact address below; information that must legally be retained may be excluded from deletion.

The App Store, Google Play, your email provider, and the file/cloud services you choose may process data for their own services under their own policies. This policy describes the app’s data handling; it does not cover all processing performed by our website or those independent services.

9. Children’s privacy

The app is a general utility for shift workers and is not specifically designed for children. The app does not ask for age information, child accounts, or children’s identity information. If you believe a support message has included a child’s personal information, please contact us at the address below.

10. Changes and contact

If features or data handling practices change, we will update this policy and its date above. Relevant store data disclosures must also remain consistent with those changes.
